Good evening JMB parents and guardians,

This is Mr. Briggs with some announcements for everyone:

  • A reminder that schools are closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day – a federal holiday in the United States that remembers the people who died while serving in our country’s armed forces.Please take some time to remember those who fought for the freedoms that we currently enjoy!
  • A message from our guidance office – Please be sure to have all of your Student Service Learning (SSL) hours logged in by June 15, 2017.Beginning on July 1, 2017, we will only approve SSL hours for the current school year.A good tip would be to log in your SSL hours monthly!
  • Attention Class of 2020:Registration is open for the 2017 GEAR UP Summer Camps. Camp topics include “college prep skills”, “leadership training”, “PSAT prep” and more.For more information, check your mail for the GEAR UP packet or check the school website for the GEAR UP link. Space is filling up fast!
  • Do you want information about College Admission Requirements for your children such as information about programs and majors that are offered at different colleges and universities?Do you need to know what classes your students need to take in high school to meet requirements for college?Then, bring your students and join us for a College Fair sponsored by Wicomico County Public Schools on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at James M.
